Having your previous college credit evaluated toward your new degree program at your new institution is probably high on your priority list. Before leaving your current institution be sure that you have the catalog that covers the academic year(s) that you completed credit. It is also a good idea to have a copy of the course syllabus for each course that you completed. This is particularly true if the course involved a unique or special topic. The more information you can provide the transfer credit evaluation staff at your new institution, the more likely you are to have the credit evaluated as a specific course at your new school.
